A Little gem of a place. Traditional style inside and out - many locals and few others. An absolute pleasure talking eat true Japanese food away from the lights of Shinjuku. Not over priced and amazing Γ°ΕΈΒΒ£. Could have spent all night there.
MoreWHAT DO YOU DO WITHOUT IT?Izakaya-style restaurant, decentralized and welcoming, the restaurateur does not know English but the menu is full of photos and illustrated. Tasty food and rich choice of drinks. Advice
MoreGreat gobo chips - the best I've had anywhere. Just the best gobo chips. Way better than french fries. Those along with beef skewers was just a FANTASTIC way to soak up the alcohol in your belly. If you ordered a shot of whiskey on the main floor and the owner poured it himself it would be a VERY LARGE shot. If you put that into a beer it was a very strong and tasty drink. Add the gobo fries and beef skewers and you could hardly ask for more. If you leave drunk the owner is visibly pleased with his work. He aims to get you well fed and drunk. And with me he succeeded on several nights! Great place. Too bad about the indoor smoking but it's Japan, right?
MoreVery good
Very beautiful from the outside, but the sushi was not great. Perhaps other dishes are better.
MoreSo first of all, this place has English menu but just like everywhere else, need to ask for it. Secondly, the service is fantastic and the chief is really fun (if you know some Japanese of course) definitely recommend this place
MoreGreat place. Sadly people can smoke inside
Great spot for late night food. We arrived at 1am and ordered Omakse - it was great
